Tonya Watts holds a diploma from St. Nicholas Training Centre, London, England, which was granted in 1979 for Early Childhood Education (Courses I and II). She has completed 200 hours of instructional time and is an Assistant Instructor for Montessori Educators, International, which is a Montessori teacher training course. Tonya is also a verified Trainer with TAPP (Traveling Arkansas' Professional Pathways) and completed her School Age Specialist Certificate with Arkansas State University's Childhood Services. She has taught both Primary and 3rd and 4th Grades. She became the 1st and 2nd Grade Directress in 2007. Tonya has over 25 years of Montessori teaching experience.

North Little Rock Montessori School

Educating since 1969

Kim Thomas joined North Little Rock Montessori in December 2009. She was previously the Residency Program Manager for Emergency Medicine at UAMS. She was also employed by the Cabot Public School District as a Substitute Elementary Teacher. Kim was familiar with the Montessori Method as her son Joe attended the Montessori program at Levy Christian Kindergarten in 2003-2004. Kim has begun her observation, training and mentoring. She is looking forward to her daughter Harleigh attending in the Primary Class this fall.
